It has gotten very cool the past week. Sunday is supposed to be the hottest it's been in a while & a lot of sun. Can you still find Timbers & Coppers basking or under logs & rocks, or are most of them starting to hibernate?

I would say any gravids that didnt birth may be up, although time is running out for that, but the ones that birthed are under along with their offspring. Im going tommorrow in hopes of seeing some males back at the rookery and also to see if the copper that I have been seeing with them birthed yet. This weather stinks!

What a surprise! Just was at a site today that a TR was actually birthing right in front of me. There was also more neos there with other mothers that had afterbirth on them. When I left there was 3 mothers, 18+ neos, 1 gravid copper, and the one TR was still gravid, but she truly look like she was ready to pop. Got some good pics.
