   ok, so i cheated a bit but i did find it eventually...funny thing is im a herpetologist and it took me a while....took my girlfriend amy less than a minute...guess that means im training her up on herping good!

   I was laying right aside of them snakes (18") and never noticed that snake until i heard the leaves crinkle. Then I still had to look for a couple seconds.

   My daughter (5yr) found the black timber and the copperhead, had to show her the yellow phase though.

   Hint: It is as big as the yellow phase in the photo.
